Analysis of Aluminum Foil Quality Defects

Aluminum foil bruises refer to the damage caused to the surface or end face of the foil after colliding with other objects during transportation or storage. Brushes are mostly caused by carelessness when packaging aluminum foil.

Corrosion: Defects occur on the surface of the aluminum foil after a chemical or electrochemical reaction occurs when the aluminum foil surface comes into contact with the surrounding medium. The corroded aluminum foil surface will lose its luster, and in severe cases, gray corrosion products will be produced. Surface bubbles: Aluminum foil with surface bubble defects will have irregular circular or strip-shaped cavity bulges on the surface of the foil; the edges of the bulges are rounded, asymmetrical on both sides, and the distribution is irregular. The surface bubbles make the aluminum foil strips at various points Unbalanced force may cause breakage and shutdown.

Dark side stripes Dark side stripes mostly appear on double-joint products. The dark side has obvious light and dark striped patterns along the rolling direction, which affects the appearance.

Marks There are many situations that can cause marks to appear on the surface of aluminum foil, such as defects on the surface of the roller or guide roller or dirt such as metal shavings, unclean surfaces of the sleeve or tube core or local smooth bulges, or foil materials during winding.
