2.Processing and surface treatment
Processing adaptability
6061 checkered plate: high hardness (HBW≥95) causes easy cracking during bending, and preheating is required. It is suitable for precision processing such as CNC milling
5052 checkered plate: excellent ductility, can withstand 180° bending (R angle ≥3t), and is suitable for complex sheet metal modeling
Pattern technology
Both support diamond/strip embossing, and 6061 requires greater punching force due to its high strength.
5052 has better pattern clarity after anodizing the surface (roughness Ra≤0.8μm)

4. Selection strategy
For high-load scenarios (such as factory trench covers), the 6061 series is preferred, and it is recommended to be matched with a reinforcing rib design
For humid/corrosive environments (such as coastal buildings), the 5052 series is recommended, and the fluorocarbon spraying process can extend the service life to 20 years
Process parameter verification: The stamping of 6061 patterned plate requires the mold temperature to be controlled at 150-200℃ to avoid cracking, while 5052 can be stamped at room temperature. The proportion of 5052 embossed aluminum plates used in the construction field reached 68%, far exceeding 6061
