3003-H14 aluminum alloy plate has 1.20% manganese, increasing its strength over commercially pure aluminum (1100 series). 3003 offers high workability, weldability, and corrosion resistance.
3003 Aluminum is one of the most extensively used aluminium alloys. It is a general-purpose aluminum with moderate strength, acceptable workability and weldability, and excellent corrosion protection. 3003 is a non-heat-treatable grade that can be deep drawn, spun, welded, or brazed.
Aluminum alloy plate. Sheet 3003 H14 Bare is a great choice for chemical equipment and ordinary sheet metal applications because of its high corrosion resistance and workability. Aluminum 3003 H14 bare sheet performs well in fabrication and decorative architectural usage because it is very workable, formable, and weldable, and it can tolerate outdoor conditions.
Alloy 3003 has very low strength, but it may be toughened significantly through cold working, allowing for a variety of "H" tempers. Alloy 3003 is also manufactured as a bright finish treadplate (sometimes known as a chequer plate) for industrial and decorative purposes.

What is the difference between 3003 and 6061 aluminum?
3003 aluminum is a low-cost alloy valued for its good formability, corrosion resistance, and weldability, making it ideal for applications such as cooking utensils, architectural trim, and storage tanks. 6061, on the other hand, is a stronger, more durable, more versatile alloy that is employed in higher-stress applications such as structural components, bicycle frames, and automotive parts because of its increased strength, machinability, and heat-treatability. The optimal decision depends on whether your project values simplicity of forming and cheaper cost (3003) or higher strength and durability (6001).
Can you weld 3003 aluminum to 6061 aluminum?
3003 aluminum is easily welded using traditional procedures. Filler rods are commonly made of aluminum 1100. When welding 3003 to other aluminum alloys such as 5052, 6061, or 6062, use a 4043 aluminum filler rod.
