1050 aluminum plate is a widely used alloy in the 1000 series aluminum alloys, also known as commercially pure aluminum. The designation "50" in 1050 aluminum indicates a minimum aluminum content of 99.5%, which meets the international purity standard for this grade.

 

Due to its very low alloying element content, 1050 aluminum sheet plate features a simple production process, competitive pricing, and broad industrial usability. It is especially valued for its high plasticity, corrosion resistance, electrical conductivity, and thermal conductivity. However, it has low mechanical strength, cannot be strengthened by heat treatment, and has relatively poor machinability.
