A dense oxide film is formed on the surface of the aluminum plate, and the colorless and porous nature of the anodized film is used to achieve the purpose of dyeing and protecting the aluminum matrix. (A thin layer of aluminum oxide is formed on the oxidized surface of the anodized aluminum plate, with a thickness of 5~20 microns, and the hard anodized film can reach 60~200 microns.)

However, this material also has disadvantages: one is color difference control, and the other is folding and tearing
For the color difference problem:
First, the anodized aluminum plates required for the project use the same batch of oxidation materials to minimize and avoid color difference. For large-scale projects, the same batch of materials should be used for the same facade;
Second, pay attention to the arrow marks on the panel during processing and installation to maintain consistency of direction. The installation direction of the panel should be all horizontal or vertical to keep the texture direction constant. The panels standing vertically to each other will show color changes.
Third, the plate is used for three-dimensional modeling or irregular geometric facades. Under the weakening effect of light and shadow, the visual color difference can be reduced.
For the problem of hemming tearing, whether it is anodized aluminum veneer or aluminum composite board, this situation is inevitable. The thicker the anodized aluminum veneer, the more serious the cracking phenomenon during hemming forming. Even if a 0.5mm thick anodized aluminum composite board is used, very fine hair-like linear cracks will appear during mechanical forming or bending.
