5083 is a non-heat-treated aluminum with high corrosion resistance, decent weldability, and fair formability. It is highly resistant to seawater and industrial atmospheric corrosion and is ideal for low-temperature applications.
Aluminium Plate Alloy 5083 H111 is noted for its remarkable performance in harsh situations. 5083 Aluminium Plate is extremely resistant to damage from seawater and industrial chemical conditions. Alloy 5083 also keeps its excellent strength after welding. It has the strongest strength among non-heat-treatable alloys; however, it is not recommended for usage at temperatures above 65°C.
