The aluminum strips and foils for blinds made of 5052 and 5182 aluminum alloys in H19 and H48 states have significant material properties and application advantages.
5052 aluminum alloy is an Al-Mg series rust-proof aluminum with a magnesium content of 2.2%-2.8%. Its H19 state is treated by ultra-hardening to achieve a tensile strength of 170-305MPa, and its elongation is maintained at 12%-20%, with excellent corrosion resistance and processing plasticity; while the H48 state is treated by a specific heat treatment process to make the material strength between the annealed state and the full hard state, balancing the formability and structural rigidity.
5182 aluminum alloy is a reinforced rust-proof aluminum with a high magnesium content (4.0%-5.0%). Its H19 state tensile strength is ≥175MPa, which is particularly suitable for dynamic parts that require fatigue resistance. The H48 state achieves an optimized combination of strength and deep drawing performance by adjusting the grain structure.
The two materials can meet the needs of different scenarios through differentiated state processing:
The 5052 series is more suitable for residential and commercial buildings that require aesthetics and medium strength, and the blade thickness is usually selected to be 0.21-0.25mm;
The 5182 series is aimed at industrial environments that need to withstand strong wind pressure or frequent mechanical operations, and often adopts a thickening design of more than 0.27mm, combined with a streamlined blade structure to achieve optimal wind resistance.
