5754 5052 Diamond Tread Aluminum Sheet Description
Both 5754 aluminum alloy and 5052 aluminum alloy are aluminum-magnesium alloys, but the magnesium content of 5754 aluminum alloy is higher, between 2.6-3.6%. Its corrosion resistance to seawater and salt spray is about 30% higher than that of 5052. It is especially suitable for marine environments and is suitable for ship decks and offshore platform anti-skid pedals.
The tensile strength of 5754 aluminum plate is 165-265MPa, the thickness precision of 5754 cold-rolled aluminum plate is high, and the formability is excellent after rapid annealing.
5754 aluminum patterned plate can be used as battery pack shell and lightweight body parts.
Selection and technical points:
Environmental adaptation: 5754 aluminium checker plate sheet is required for highly corrosive environments (such as marine and chemical industries); 5052 aluminium checker plate sheet is preferred in conventional scenarios to reduce costs.
Process requirements: 5754 aluminium checker plate sheet requires a special argon arc welding process to prevent thermal cracks; 5052 aluminium checker plate sheet can be conventionally arc welded.
Certification standards: DNV/GL certification is required for ship applications, and ASTM B209 is required for the construction field
