The double zero foil, also known as light gauge foil, is a type of aluminum foil that measures less than 0.0075 mm in thickness. In English, thick foil is referred to as "heavy gaugefoil", single zero foil is called "medium gaugefoil", and double zero foil is known as "lightgaugefoil". Abroad, aluminum foils with a thickness of 40 LTM or less are considered light gauge foils while those with a thickness greater than 40 BTM are collectively referred to as heavy gauge.
