Cable Aluminum Foils
Aluminum foil for cables is also called cable shielding foil. Generally, 1235 aluminum foil or 8011 aluminum foil is used. The reason why aluminum foil is used is because it has high sealing and shielding properties. It can be coated with a layer of plastic film on one or both sides. Made of aluminum-plastic composite foil, it serves as an ideal cable protection layer.
Common aluminum foil grades for cables:
AA-1350: This is a pure aluminum grade commonly used in cables with low resistance requirements.
AA-5052: This is an aluminum-magnesium alloy that provides some strength and corrosion resistance and is suitable for some cables that require higher strength.
AA-8011: This is also an aluminum alloy that is often used for cable insulation and has good processability and corrosion resistance.
Aluminum foil for cables generally uses 1235/8011 aluminum foil.
